Ed Kovatch
ED KOVATCH
Ed has coached at levels ranging from T-ball to adult league baseball over the last 20 years, he has focused on travel baseball for the last 4 years, starting with the Evoshield Canes and currently coaching the 2023 West Chester Dragons. After High school, Ed attended Temple University, a Division 1 program, where he was a 4 year starter. He pitched in 3 NCAA Regional tournaments and received All Atlantic 10 honors as a right handed pitcher. Ed then signed with the Chicago White Sox during the 1986 draft compiling a 1.99 career ERA in the minor leagues. Ed went on to play in the West Chester Adult Baseball League for 21 seasons. He has been inducted in to the Coatesville High School, WCABL, Kennett, and US Amateur Baseball Hall of Fames. Ed has a passion for working with inspiring young athletes and giving back some of what Baseball has given to him over his career.
